Many newbies in the game tend to get confused. Since there are many programs to choose from, one cannot just pick the right one for the job. That’s why in this section, we’ll find out the different goals of GetResponse & LeadPages.

These following Infos will help you decide which to choose, based on your own needs. Let’s start with GetResponse. After that, we’ll move forward with LeadPages.

What is GetResponse?

GetResponse is an all-in-one marketing platform but is one of the earliest known email marketing services out there.

GetResponse started its operation in 1998 when the first autoresponders were launched. Five years later, the program reinvented itself into what it is now––offering a wide variety of email marketing tools – both old and new, as well as a new approach to auto-responding. Using its famous Autoresponder 2.0, Contact Management has never been easier.

What is LeadPages?

Great contents are effective only if appropriately organized. Every business knows that great appeal and strong presence, along with good offers, are what make customers visit again. This can be applied digitally and physically. Since what they’ll quickly see is your storefront, it should be compelling and information should be provided with ease and accessibility.

Along with Page-Building, LeadPages is known for Content Management, and offers effective tools and services relating to websites, domains and online presence-building. It is an excellent foundation platform for beginner entrepreneurs. Although fairly new in the scene, they have been around for 8 years of experience.

Since Leadpages’ main forte is publishing, we can freely say that it’s better than GetResponse when it comes to page-building. (ALSO READ: Is GetResponse’s landing page-builder better than ClickFunnels?) Since GetResponse specializes in email marketing, it would make sense to integrate with each other making LeadPages your primary outlet while the managing source would be GetResponse – a match made in heaven, we think.

The Integration Process

Both programs offer integration. This can be beneficial to many potential users since both excel at what they do best. Even though GetResponse proclaims itself as versatile, its skill in publishing has its drawbacks.

So, it would be an excellent move for users to mix.

Although both can be integrated by using Zapier or manually since their synergy is outstanding, here are the following steps that you should follow if you wish to integrate one program to the other.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • GetResponse Account
  • LeadPages Account

STEPS

Collect your API Keys on GetResponse (Since your main page is in LeadPages, you will have to integrate Getresponse into LeadPages)

  • GETTING YOUR API KEY IN GetResponse
    • Sign up for your GetResponse Account.
    • To retrieve your API, Go to the “Menu” Section
    • Once done, Go to the Integrations, then move on to the API.
    • Go to the API, then click the “Generate API Key.”
    • Keys are as crucial as passcodes, so name it wisely. Don’t worry. The program will suggest a credible passcode for safety measures.
  • INTEGRATING AN APP IN LEADPAGES (Drag-n-Drop Builder)
    • Sign up for your Account
    • Select the “My Account” segment.
    • Go to the “Integrations” section and pick GetResponse.
    • Click “Connect New Account.”
    • Name the said Integration Account.
    • You will be notified if both programs have already been connected.
    • Once you’ve successfully integrated, You will have to select your integration to the forms that you wish to direct into.
    • In this case, Your GetResponse will be the one receiving your leads’ data.
    • Once finished, input your GetResponse API Keys and Credentials.
    • Watch as the programs automatically manage everything.
  • VERIFY THE CONNECTION
    • Go over your page/form and click Edit Integration. (Keep in mind, your form might be within a pop-up on the page.)
    • On the “Integration” tab, click +Add Integration under “Choose where you want page/form-data to go.”
    • Select GetResponse from the menu, then choose the specific list/tag/campaign where you’d like leads to be directed.
    • Be sure to click Update at the top-right corner of the builder when finished.
    • Save every change that was done.

Why should you integrate?

Not only is the integration process necessary but the overall experience, depending, is excellent as well. Although both are great at doing what they do best, let’s see why it’s even greater to use simultaneously. Now, the main question is, should you consider integrating?

Every program has its own faults, that’s just expected and normal. You will eventually encounter mishaps and accidents along the way. However, sometimes, limitations exceed expectations.

GetResponse

Users that are having a hard time managing their time, especially if they’re in desperate need of lead organizers, can benefit from GetResponse. The program offers a wide variety of email marketing tools – both old and new.

Leadpages

The program in itself is a great starting point for newbies. Since the program specializes in publishing, it would be an excellent storefront for many.

Since the program offers hundreds of templates, many creatives can extend their potential. It also serves as a great compelling page for many entrepreneurs.

GetResponse + Leadpages

Both prrograms have the experience that backs up its credibility. What’s great with two is that it can do the following:

o   Initiate GetResponse campaigns in LeadPages

o   Tag your GetResponse contacts with LeadPages segmentation

o   Direct your leads certainly to your chosen LeadPages page

o   Add your successful conversions from LeadPages directly to your selected GetResponse list!

Price Points

Both programs are pretty efficient. Not only do they offer great tools, but their plans are also efficient.

The most affordable price in LeadPages is $25/month. One can pretty much have the basics—pretty good choice, in my opinion. (READ More: How much does Leadpages cost?)

GetResponse, on the other hand, starts at $15/month with its email plan. The plan itself includes basic tools in email marketing. Great for contact organization. (READ More: GetResponse Pricing Plans)

With that said, if you still have doubts, you can try it for free! Both programs offer 14-day free trials for newbies to decide. That way, the experience can be your verdict.
